Hilliard Music Educator, Shawn Malone, with Music Loves Ohio President, Matt Crumpton
On Wednesday, November 30, Music Loves Ohio donated two iPod playing boomboxes and ten sets of Sony headphones to the Hilliard City School District. MLO President, Matt Crumpton, was on site to deliver the donated items.
This donation will be used to allow students to hear various genres of music through the general music education classes. The previously used equipment was broken and had not been replaced due to budget cuts.
“This is what Music Loves Ohio is here to do,” said Crumpton. “We are glad that our donation will benefit Hilliard students and hope to touch the lives of many more students in the future.”
